A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS
Sent in by Vic Wyrsch in memory of the late Jimmy McDonagh, one of the S.F.F.D.’s great at the 1997 St. Patrick’s Day parade in New York City. Good times, good days and in good company, John Sikora, John DiLuzio, Vic Wyrsch and Mayor Rudy Guilliani standing next to the late Jimmy McDonagh. This picture was taken at the end of the parade with the mayor who graciously hosted the nations Firefighters. The pipes playing and the crowd cheering added to the intense emotional pride for Jim’s heritage and his job. Hats off to you Jim! We miss you.
